Laetitia's New Car

So on the heels of me getting a Toyota Matrix XRS, Laetitia picked herself up an Audi A3 2.0T. It's a beautiful car with all the gadgets you could want - Navigation, MP3, Bluetooth for the phone, seat warmers, open sky roof, etc. etc. Yes, it's the car that I initially wanted, but at least I get to drive it some of the time. It handles so much better than her Jetta, and I forget that which car I'm driving since it's the same size and similar feel of mine. I'm sure this will change once it's out of the break-in period and we can start stepping on the gas. Anyway, here's a picture from my phone for now.

Happy Thanksgiving

Laetitia and I went for a drive up the coast for a dinner with Mom and Dad in Paso Robles, with their friends. We also got to meet up with my sister Sandy and her husband Shane, before Laetitia and I did some dancing at the Madonna Inn.
Baby Porfirio in Mexico with a real-life turkey "and some chickens".
Thanks for the baby album, mom.

Get Well Soon, ChaCha!

As of Wednesday evening, Laetitia and I have been taking care of Cha Cha while Mary is out of town "at the Ohio Star Ball". Cha Cha had a near death experience last week, so I've got to give her 6 pills a day and feed her special food. She's a fighter, and the second I feel like she's getting sluggish and down, all I have to do is offer her a few pieces of her food and she acts like they're treats... she starts dancing around and begging.
Yesterday, I brought her to work, and she just slept most of the afternoon, but when it was time to go, she had a surprise in store. Right when we stepped into the elevator she dropped about a gallon of pee! I bolted to the bathroom for some paper towels and sopped up what I could. I didn't bring her to work today "I don't need to be implicated". Anyway, I took her for a walk a lunch and she seems to be hanging in there.

Busy is no excuse, but...

So I haven't posted here for a while, since we've been so busy. We had a great time at the Champion Halloween party. Pictures are posted HERE, and the show was especially fun due to the attendance of some of the cast of So You Think You Can Dance - Artem, Ryan, Ashle, and from the LA auditions, Timo, Rodrigo and Yesenia. After the dance, we tagged along and went to the Salsa congress in town. Mary actually wore her Halloween costume, and it wasn't a costume dance, but that just made it even more fun.
Anyway, work has been pretty busy with a couple of projects and proposals, but we're trying to keep the energy high so that we're ready to compete again this December. I'll try to keep you posted here
