Sorry for slacking, but April's been busy!

Hmmm, what's happened this month? I recall a lot of stuff around taxes. This is the first time I've filed taxes for a business, so that made this year a little more "fun". I ended up owing the gov't a little bit (not nearly as much as Laetitia), but at least we got things all done in time, and we can move on.

Work has been really busy for me; busy enough to where I needed some of Laetitia's help. The good news is that the projects that we were working on (proposals for tech solutions for the gov't) are getting good responses. One has already turned into a contract, so it's been worth it, I guess :wink:

Laetitia hurt her back again, and had to take the happy pills. This put a snag in our practice schedule, but work and taxes had already done most of the damage. She's probably 98% now, so we've got to get busy for our next competition in a couple of weeks.

We spent Easter in town - at Laetitia's parents (and with her dogs), and from there we went to her grandparents. It was nice to catch up...

So that's most of the month in one entry... I'll see if I can squeeze one more in before the month's through.
