So, since Pumkin has had all our shots, we finally thought it was time to take her to the dog park. We've taken her so many places now: the mall, restaurants, stores, parks, etc., but we've never taken her to a full on dog park.

First, we had bagels nearby and she was already acting like her usual self: pulling at the leash, trying to say hello to every dog coming by, so we were really wondering how a group of dogs would respond to her enthusiasm.

Basically, it went like this: we put her down and she squirmed as the other dogs frolicked in the near distance; as soon as we got the leash off, she darted toward them to say hello; she got excited and started running and a few dogs started to give chase; she started running faster and realized more dogs were chasing her; she started crying like a little baby and running for her life!

It was sooooo cute, but she learned as soon as she submitted and dropped to her back, they just gave her a smell and moved on to the next dog. She was a little wary in the moments following, but they she started warming up more and even making friends.

We've posted pictures from both Saturday and Sunday, and we can say that she slept VERY WELL after both of her days of playing at the dog park :-)

Little Baby Tooth

Our baby Pumpkin girl is getting bigger all the time, but last night she had something special happen: she lost her first baby tooth! I was holding one of her chewie bones for her as she was chomping away, and I noticed what looked like a little piece of bone crumbs, which turned out to be her tooth! She was very excited, as you can tell by the picture. I positioned a dime in the shot, so you can perceive the scale. On that note, Saturday may be the big day we take her to the dog park. Hopefully, things go well and we'll have plenty of pictures.

DivX Speedway

So to celebrate the official launch of DivX Connected, our group with go-cart racing at the Miramar Speedway. It was soooooo awesome. I had never done that before. I ended up with the 3rd fasted lap of the day, and had a couple spinouts and crashes, too. I posted pictures HERE, but not any of the bruises on my back, which I think were formed in the last 25-lap race. Anyway, that was definitely one of the best days of work EVERY!!!!
