So, we picked up Cha Cha last night from Champion Ballroom, and as we were leaving after practice, Laetitia noticed that she had a funky looking toe nail. Upon further inspection, it looked like her nail was pretty infected, with hair and hardened gunk all pressed around the nail. I was hoping that with a damp washcloth I could get the gunk off and find a pristine nail underneath. Instead, her nail split in half while I was scrubbing, and released the nastiest smell EVER crazyAnyway, we showed Mary, and she gave us the info for the vet, so I'm going to take her at some point this morning, so chances are they're going to install a tube somewhere, since that seems to be the fix for every animal that goes the vet with an infection... "We installed this drainage tube..." I guess I'll post back later with the results.
