Puppy Stank Ear

So Pumpkin had her her first vet visit with us this morning. I took her to Pacific Petcare, which is right by our house. She was very good, and friendly with all of the doctors and staff. They put her on a feline scale, and she weighs 6lbs and 12.5 oz. So I guess she is half grown.

I asked the vet about her ears, because I have been cleaning smelly, waxy discharge from them every day since I got her, it seems. They vet examined her and said she has ear mites and a yeast infection in her ears... in other words, a condition I refer to as "Puppy Stank Ear." So I was sent home with cleaning solution, which worked very, very well, and ointment.

When I clean inside her ears, she chatters her teeth together and thumps her back foot. I think she likes it.

Also, this morning was the first morning that the alarm woke me up, and not the Pumpkin-raptor call. I went out and her pee pad was bone dry and she was lounging like a little angel. So I picked her up and we went and sang Happy Birthday to Porfirio. Happy Birthday, Porfirio. I hope you wished for ointment.
